I have always liked creating things and fixing things.
I often get asked, "How did you learn to do this?" and "How did you get started doing renovations?" Well when I was about 12 years old I started playing with my Dad’s tools and would build little projects. I really enjoyed taking things apart and then putting them back together. At one point my Dad suggested I become an engineer! It seemed I had a natural talent and I loved it. I have always loved working with my hands and learning about ways to fix or build stuff.
I did not become an engineer, however, I did not lose my passion for building so I started with small projects around my house and honed my skills. I've worked with great contractors who are in the construction business and each taught me a great deal.
Prior to starting Renos By Rhona, I owned and operated restaurants where I was hands on in the kitchen! I learned a great deal about providing great service and great products that people want. Being a small business owner, I certainly know the value of a dollar!
With my experience this means that you will get someone who will provide you with great service and will not waste your hard earned money.
I love doing my job and you will see that in the end product.
We do the small jobs the big guys don't want.
